The Final One For The Highway leads the nominations for Italy’s 71st David di Donatello awards which had been introduced on the historic Cinecittà studios in Rome on Thursday.
The highway film by Francesco Sossai, which initially world premiered in Cannes Un Sure Regard in 2025, is nominated in 16 classes.
Different frontrunners embrace Paolo Sorrentino’s Venice opener La Grazia with 14 nominations and Silvio Soldini’s WW2 drama The Tasters with 13.
Gennaro Nunziante’s record-breaking hit comedy Buen Camino starring Checco Zalone scored only one nomination for Greatest Unique Music.
The 71st David di Donatello awards will happen in Cinecittà on Could 6.
