Tweed Seagulls RLFC have appointed Joe O’Callaghan as their new Hostplus Cup head coach on a two-year deal.
Formally getting into the function from mid to late October 2025 after relocating from Sydney, O’Callaghan joins the Seagulls with in depth and elite teaching expertise and a confirmed observe report of success.

Most lately with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, he served as NRL Assistant Coach, NSW Cup Head Coach, NRL Improvement Coach, and Jersey Flegg Head Coach.

In 2014, O’Callaghan led Northern Satisfaction to the QLD Cup Premiership and NRL State Championship.

In 2023, he guided the Rabbitohs to the NSW Cup Premiership and NRL State Championship title.
