Labour backbenchers who “don’t play the crew sport with the remainder of us” are “not going to distract” the Authorities, Steve Reed mentioned.
The Housing Secretary refused to say whether or not MPs who rebelled in yesterday’s Commons vote would lose the whip or if he would assist that transfer.
He informed Sky Information: “You’ve obtained a handful of standard suspects that may repeatedly vote towards the Authorities. They’re not going to distract us.
“You realize, we’ve obtained the renters’ rights reforms coming on this Friday, which supplies renters, individuals who lease their house, the largest enhance in protections and rights that we’ve had for a era.
“That’s what voters need us to deal with, not a handful of those that go off and don’t play the crew sport with the remainder of us.
“Ninety-nine p.c of us are united with the Prime Minister in order that we are able to deal with the problems that matter.”
