Responding to experiences from North West Mayors, Member for Traeger and KAP Chief Robbie Katter has formally written to the Prime Minister to urgently request federal funding for CopperString.
After the Premier doubled down on the significance of CopperString to Queensland, the Queensland Treasurer has additionally failed to inform the Queensland Parliament if the Authorities has formally requested Federal Funding for the Nationally important CopperString challenge.
“My native Mayors have come again from a delegation to Canberra and inform me the Federal Authorities haven’t obtained any formal requests for funding for CopperString,” Chief of the KAP and state Member for Traeger Robbie Katter has stated.
“I didn’t wish to wait one other day, so I’ve written to the Prime Minister on behalf of Queenslanders.

The Federal Authorities confirmed to KAP Federal Member for Kennedy that no formal request for CopperString funding has been made.
