Matthew Parris, CEO of the belief that runs the faculties that went into lockdown, has defined what occurred as they responded to the police incident.
He mentioned: “We introduced the kids in in any respect 4 colleges at that time – that was as a procutionary measure while I contacted police to seek out out what was happening.
“Having had reassurances from police on the character of the incident, we have been in a position to have the kids return to their classes throughout the house of an hour.
“Our first precedence is the protection and wellbeing of youngsters – as quickly as we knew it was completely secure, they returned to their classes and the mother and father have been made conscious.”
