A person has been remanded in custody, charged with the homicide and sexual assault of a 13-month-old boy underneath adoption. Jamie Varley, 36, appeared within the dock for a short listening to at Lancaster Magistrates’ Courtroom, accused of the homicide of Preston Davey, who died in Blackpool in July 2023.
