A seven-year-old boy has died after being struck by a automobile in Staffordshire, police have mentioned.
Officers had been referred to as to the scene at 5am on Saturday after the car collided with the kid on the A38 on the junction with the A5206, close to Lichfield.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police mentioned: “Sadly, the kid, a boy aged 7, died on the scene.
“His household have been knowledgeable, and are being supported by specially-trained officers.”

The A38 was closed in each instructions, between the A5148 and A5 junctions, for greater than 10 hours whereas officers investigated the incident.
