United States federal brokers shot and wounded two individuals in Portland, Oregon, police stated, whereas urging the local people to stay calm after heightened tensions following a separate capturing a day earlier in Minneapolis.
Portland police stated in a press release: “Two individuals are within the hospital following a capturing involving federal brokers.”
“We perceive the heightened emotion and rigidity many are feeling within the wake of the capturing in Minneapolis, however I’m asking the neighborhood to stay calm as we work to study extra,” police chief Bob Day stated.
Police stated they weren’t concerned within the incident, and the circumstances of the 2 individuals weren’t recognized.
