A person, believed to be in his 30s, didn’t resurface after going into the water simply earlier than 4pm at Maroubra Seashore yesterday.
He was believed to be on the seashore with a number of pals, police say.
“Situations will not be beneficial offshore this afternoon, with uneven seas and squally rain showers,” Marine Rescue NSW Inspector Andrew Harding stated yesterday.
“Volunteer crews on board Center Harbour 30 and Botany Hacking 32 will proceed looking this night till instructed in any other case by NSW Police Marine Space Command.”
The search was suspended at 6pm yesterday night, however will resume at 8am right this moment.
