An Edinburgh flight was boarded by cops on Christmas Eve after objects have been reportedly stolen from a trolley. The incident occurred throughout the Ryanair flight earlier than it landed on the capital airport on Wednesday, December 24.
A passenger onboard the flight captured the second an announcement was made, asking the alleged thief at hand over the stolen objects. An picture exhibits cops strolling up and down the aisle on the plane, stories Edinburgh Stay.
In footage shared on TikTok somebody will be heard over the airplane’s tannoy, saying: “The objects, in the event that they hand them over, if that occurs everybody will get off the airplane faster. If not, individually, everybody will probably be searched.”
It’s understood the flight departed from Las Palmas in Gran Canaria on Christmas Eve and the objects which have been alleged to have been stolen from the trolley on the Ryanair flight weren’t recovered. It’s unknown if passengers have been individually searched.
A Police Scotland spokesperson stated: “Round 4.15pm on Wednesday, 24 December, 2025, we acquired a report of things being stolen on a flight touchdown at Edinburgh Airport.
“Enquiries have been carried out nonetheless the objects weren’t recovered.”
Ryanair was approached for remark.
