LIZ Truss cheered Tory backbenchers yesterday as she tore into Labour chief Sir Keir Starmer over tax rises at her first Prime Minister’s Questions.
She managed to get straight on the entrance foot, as she set out her mission to “get Britain transferring”.
In a packed Commons chamber, the brand new chief vowed to turbocharge the economic system, and rejected Starmer’s criticism of her plan to halt rises to Company Tax.
Ms Truss mentioned: “There may be nothing new a few Labour chief who is asking for extra tax rises. It’s the usual tax and spend.”
Tory MPs — fearful her supply model may seem wood — later took to social media to reward the efficiency.
