Three jail officers have been attacked by a prisoner at HMP Frankland in County Durham, officers have mentioned. Itâs reported that it was dedicated by Hashem Abedi, the brother of the Manchester Area bomber, Salman Abedi. The three officers have suffered âlife threatening accidentsâ, Manchester Night Information (MEN) writes. It has been described as a âviciousâ incident by a union for jail officers. The Jail Officersâ Affiliation alleges that the assault was âunprovokedâ.
In an announcement, it mentioned: âThe Officers acquired life threatening accidents together with burns, scalds and stab wounds when Abedi threw scorching cooking oil over them then produced handmade weapons and proceeded to stab the Officers.â Hashem was discovered responsible of murdering the 22 victims at an Ariana Grande live performance in Might 2017. âThree jail officers have been handled in hospital after an assault by a prisoner at HMP Frankland,â the Jail Service mentioned.
