Keir Starmer has nominated a raft of latest Labour friends. 

Partygate investigator and the prime minister’s former chief of employees, Sue Grey, is among the many Labour figures set to be elevated to the Home of Lords.

Luciana Berger, the previous MP for Liverpool Wavertree who resigned from Labour in protest at Jeremy Corbyn’s management in 2019, is one other who has been granted a peerage by the prime minister. Berger rejoined the Labour Celebration in 2023.  

The previous Change UK and Liberal Democrat politician is amongst thirty new life friends appointed by Starmer.
