JAMES Cleverly is gaining momentum in his bid to be the brand new Tory chief.
Some 50 candidates who stood on the final election have endorsed the Shadow Dwelling Secretary in an open letter seen by The Solar on Sunday.

Their message reads: “We have to get our act collectively now.
“The general public despatched a really clear message they’d had sufficient of the perceived ‘Tory psychodrama’ in Westminster.”
Bookies have slashed their odds on Mr Cleverly main the Conservatives after his star flip final week on the get together’s convention in Birmingham.
In the meantime, Kemi Badenoch has been endorsed by US large beast Ron DeSantis.
The Florida governor, who ran in opposition to Donald Trump within the race to be the Republican presidential candidate, has launched a video during which he backs the ex-Enterprise Secretary.
In it, he says: “She has a dedication to conservative ideas, she’s robust, she’s brave, and she or he will probably be an inspiration for conservatives internationally.”
Betting websites presently favour Robert Jenrick over each Mr Cleverly and Ms Badenoch.
And fourth possibility Tom Tugendhat is broadly anticipated to be knocked out this week.
